During this year’s challenge, three local teams secured the Gold Awards in the Secondary School, Tertiary, and Open categories, while the Gold Award in the International category was claimed by a leading team from Mainland China, showcasing exceptional global talent in cybersecurity.


On 21 January 2025, the HKCERT Capture the Flag (CTF) Challenge 2024 Seminar and Award Presentation Ceremony was held in Hong Kong, culminating in a fitting celebration of the competition’s achievements.
